Summary: Red Fleet State Park is located 10 miles north of Vernal just off Highway 191. It's a perfect, picturesque location for campers interested in exploring nearby Dinosaur National Monument, Utah Field House of Natural History Museum, and Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area. The park is home to many dinosaur tracks believed to be over 200 million years old - hike on over and walk where the dinosaurs walked! Red Fleet State Park also includes a beautiful reservoir for fishing, boating, stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking, canoeing, and more. With easy access to the reservoir and fantastic privacy, this is a great site for families and friends to get away from everything and just relax. We do recommend that campers bring plenty of water and a vehicle with 4-wheel drive as the dirt road leading to the site can be rough. Due to the secluded and remote nature of the site, most mapping apps will not get you directly to the campsite. Upon registration you can contact your camp guide Mckaylee to make sure you arrive without getting lost. This campsite offers spectacular, direct views of the Red Fleet Reservoir. It features two wooden deck platforms with two canvas tents, both furnished with a queen size memory foam mattress, side tables, and a propane tent heater. Two picnic tables, two fire pits with grills, two solar showers, and two portable camp loos are also provided. Campers are able to use the park's restroom facilities as well. There are two additional pop up tents provided for extra guests, but you will have to bring your own air mattresses/sleeping pads for these tents. Our home has a lot to offer! Just to name a few thing in our home that makes this house so cozy is our tankless water heater and NEST which controls the heating and cooling system. We have a 60 inch regulation basket ball hoop, a 12 foot projector tv, lots of weight lifting equipment, jetted tub in the master bedroom, full kitchen, with a fenced in back yard with doggie doors. Our home is close to town and about 15 minutes to the mountains and lakes. Also keep in mind that we do live here, we have family photos hanging up, we keep our home clean and we leave room for all of your clothing so you hang it up:) in my opinion this makes our house a better place to stay, extra blankets, everything works, more toys and games, and over all more amenities.
